Duke of Wellington
Nestled along Hatton Road in Feltham, the Duke of Wellington brings a vibrant twist to classic pub vibes with a bold, flavour-packed menu that’s anything but ordinary. This isn’t just your average British watering hole-it’s a multicultural culinary hotspot wrapped in a warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes everyone feel like a local.
What sets the Duke of Wellington apart is its surprising fusion of traditional pub favourites and robust Indian flavours. Craving Fish and Chips? They’ve got that covered. But if you’re in the mood for something a little spicier, the Chicken Tikka Masala or the sizzling Tandoori Mixed Grill will hit the spot. The Garlic Naan and Butter Naan are fluffy and buttery, ideal for scooping up rich curries like Lamb Jalfrezi or Paneer Tikka. And for fans of smaller plates, the Fish Pakora, Samosa Chaat, and Onion Bhaji are crowd-pleasers packed with bold, zesty flavours.
For a quick lunch break or a solo dinner, it’s hard to beat the value and taste of their Chicken Curry with Rice or a Chicken Tikka Roll. There’s also a solid lineup of street-food-style bites, including Chicken Lollipop, Chilli Paneer, and even Schezwan Fried Rice with Chicken-each dish bringing a different texture and spice profile to the table. Looking for something indulgent? The Marsala Chips or Mix Grill Butter Chicken are rich, hearty choices that don’t hold back.
The atmosphere here strikes a balance between casual and lively. Whether you're popping in for a pint and a bite or settling down for a proper meal, the setup welcomes all. There’s outdoor seating for sunny days, a bar with games, and a selection of drinks that’s impressively broad. Think cocktails, beer on tap, spirits, wine, and coffee for your caffeine fix. And yes, they serve free water refills, a small but appreciated gesture that shows customer care.
In terms of accessibility, Duke of Wellington is thoughtfully designed. There’s a wheelchair-accessible entrance, seating, toilet, and car park, making it easy for everyone to enjoy a hassle-free visit. It's also popular for lunch and dinner, especially among solo diners looking for a quick yet satisfying bite. The venue comfortably bridges the gap between grab-and-go convenience and leisurely sit-down comfort.
What’s also worth noting is the wide variety of vegetarian options. Dishes like Shahi Paneer, Paneer Tikka Roll, and Samosa Starter offer full-bodied flavour profiles that even meat-lovers would appreciate. Whether you're a committed vegetarian or just looking to cut back on meat, the options here feel anything but like an afterthought.
And dessert? Absolutely worth the indulgence. The menu boasts great dessert options that pair perfectly with an espresso or a sweet cocktail from the bar. Perfect ending to a spicy meal.
Duke of Wellington also offers delivery and takeaway, so if you're not up for dining in, you can still get your curry fix right to your doorstep. With late-night food and quick bite options, it’s a reliable choice whether it’s a weekday lunch, weekend dinner, or a midnight snack craving.
From the diverse menu to the easygoing setting, Duke of Wellington isn’t just about food-it’s about experience. One moment you’re sipping a cold beer, the next you're diving into a bowl of fiery Chicken Biryani or munching on crispy Samosas while catching up with mates. It's casual, confident, and full of flavour.

Brilliant gastro pub. The food is tasty, generous and good value for money. I've eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. Staff are friendly and helpful.Dietary restrictions: Menu is comprehensively annotated for allergens.Kid-friendliness: Very kid and family friendly.
If I saw this place in South London, where I live, I'd avoid it, as I'd think it was a local boozer where I'd not be very welcome. So rest assured the Duke of Wellington is not like that - don't be put off by external appearances. This is a pub meets Indian restaurant with a number of 'Chindian' (Indian & Chinese) specialities.Food was good and service was fast, the menu is extensive. Recommended.
Food was great. Best mixed grill and the butter chicken was excellent. As always I cannot complaint. Many thanks to all the staff. This is the second reviewI am not sure if the management has changed. The butter chicken shared the same type of tandoori chicken pieces from the mixed grill. Everything was okay, the last time we were here the team agreed that it isn't the same. The star is for the old visit. The take away Chicken wraps, chips and salad wasn't as delicious as it was before. My friend said please next time don't bring me any thing from the Duke. I am like wow, what happened to the other Chef? My take is on the Butter chicken and the chicken tandoori rolls?
